The Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), the nation’s peak industry body for the technology sector, last night announced the Victorian iAwards winners for 2019. AIIA’s iAwards, now in its 26th year, is Australia’s leading awards and recognition program that brings homegrown digital innovations to the world stage.
At the gala event held on 24 May at The RACV Club Ballroom in Melbourne, awards were presented in categories comprising Business Service Markets, Public Sector & Government, Students, Research & Development, Infrastructure & Platforms, Startup and Big Data see the list here.
The Victorian Government, as the iAwards major national partner, looks forward to welcoming all state and territory finalists to Melbourne when they compete for the prestigious national awards. The AIIA iAwards Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony is the centrepiece of the annual Digital Innovation Festival since DIF started in 2016. The iAwards bring together startups, innovators, investors, business and community leaders, and federal and state politicians. We hope to see you at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 29 August.
Good luck to the winners and merit recipients who will now go on to represent Victoria at the nationals on 27-28 August. Those that win will represent Australia at the international Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards (APICTA Awards) in Halong, Vietnam from 18-23 November.
