2018 Digital Innovation Festival kicked off with the AISA Cyber Debate, Yeah Nah, Magnify World, Blockchain APAC, Digital AI Summit, Above all Human and the national iAwards.
The second and final week of DIF continues at a slower pace with the #DIFhub18 program in the heart of Melbourne. Each day you can explore something new - from smart cities, to women in tech, international business, to cybersecurity and digital health. Regional Victoria is also bustling with events with Wodonga NEDIF, Bendigo BIIF, MAVhack in Geelong and Gippsland as well as GovHack Ballarat.

Each day is a coworking day with up to 4 sessions on offer: 10 - 11.30am kick off with a morning break with techs sharing their latest innovations; 12.30 - 2pm enjoy a lunch ‘n’ learn session with industry experts; 3 - 4.30pm join in a deep dive discussion with thought leaders and 6 - 7.30pm at the end wind down and meet inspiring entrepreneurs. Each 90-minute session will be unique and provide opportunities to connect and learn.

DIF Featured Events
The Top Tech Trends Debate is unlike anything that currently exists in Australia. The event is run in debate format; showcasing the visions of five leading industry professionals pitching their ideas on the next big thing, and the audience votes. The event is a replica of the successful Churchill Club in Silicon Valley for 20 consecutive years. Bringing it to Australia will be a first.

The Bendigo Invention and Innovation Festival (BIIF) focuses on growing regional tech, innovation and startup communities as it's vital to creating regional jobs. BIIF was created to showcase regional entrepreneurs, help build a community around innovation and technology in regional areas, and connect regional business owners to national and global thought leaders in innovation and entrepreneurship. If you’re a regional business owner, tech professional, or community leader, BIIF is for you.
The Festival will include a one-day symposium, networking opportunities, a datathon, the Festival of Failure, Bendigo Inventor Awards showcase and announcement of winners and more. These events will be held on various days throughout the week.
The North East Digital Innovation Festival (or NEDIF) is an exciting one-day festival being hosted in Wodonga on Friday 7th September 2018.
The 2nd annual NEDIF, includes Google Digital Garage, Digital Innovation EXPO and Conference It is an opportunity for local government, industry, and businesses in the region to engage and network with industry experts and identify opportunities for innovation in the workplace.
