Announcing 2019 Digital Innovation Festival

DIF2019 runs 23 August to 6 September

Victoria is set to host its fourth Digital Innovation Festival (DIF) in 2019 with hundreds of technology and innovation events championing ideas and action across the State’s key industries. The Digital Innovation Festival harnesses knowledge to create change for business and society. It is about contributing, collaborating, connecting and celebrating – making the DIF. Read more >>

Dates for your diary: DIF2019 confirmed events 

At the centre of DIF is the national iAwards (29 Aug), hosted by the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), recognising and rewarding excellence in Australian technology and innovation. 

Returning as featured events in 2019 are Binary Shift Gippsland (26-27 Aug), Digital AI Summit(27 Aug) and Churchill Club Tech Trends Debate (4 Sep).

New in 2019 is the ASTN Sports Technology and Data Analytics Conference and Awards (23 Aug), the MBS Data Analytics Conference (2 Sep) and the Victorian Engineering and IT Student Jobs Expo.


DIF2019 Roadshows coming to a town near you

It's time to kick off DIF2019 with our statewide roadshow in March and April. It's an open invitation to past and future event partners to contribute, collaborate, connect and celebrate how you will make the DIF this year.

Locations include regional Victoria: Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Horsham, Mildura, Shepparton, Traralgon, Wangaratta, Warrnambool, Wodonga. Events in metro Melbourne are in the works.

DIFvic Online Events Hub

The DIFVic Online Events Hub is the central location for all information relating to DIF2019. Sign up and create your account and post your own event on the calendar. If you have an event scheduled between 23 August and 6 September become part of the 2019 Digital Innovation Festival.
