Melbourne Knowledge Week #MKW2020

So, what if the future isn’t what you expect?

Melbourne Knowledge Week (MKW) is the City of Melbourne’s week-long, annual festival of ideas for a smart and innovative city, where we engage all Melburnians to explore, discuss and ideate our future together.

We’ll celebrate Melbourne’s best and brightest, as the community explores smart, innovative and unique solutions to improve one of the world's most liveable cities.

MKW 2020: Monday 11 to Sunday 17 May

Melbourne Knowledge Week 2020 will run from Monday 11 May to Sunday 17 May with a program of interactive events, workshops, dinners and performances that will explore the exciting opportunities, tackle the urgent challenges and build the skills we’ll need to shape our future city.

Chair of the Knowledge City portfolio, Councillor Dr Jackie Watts, said the 2020 event presents a unique opportunity for Melbourne's best and brightest to share their work with the public.

"Melbourne Knowledge Week is all about connecting knowledge leaders in our city - to explore opportunities, tackle urgent challenges and foster skills to make Melbourne a better place," Dr Watts said.
