Weekly Web design (Wordpress) class for Kids [10-16yrs]
Cost: $150 (for 10 classes from 8th Feb to 11th Apr - every Saturday)
Time: 10.00am - 11:00am

WordPress is used by more than 60 million websites, including 33.6% of the top 10 million websites as of April 2019. It is a must-have skill for the young generation to start their journey for website design and development. This course will give students a boost start to learn basics about Wordpress, installation, configuration and management.
By the end of the course, students will have their own Wordpress website running online which will work on both mobile and computers.
Schedule and Course content:
Class 1 (8th Feb) - Introduction to the course, system setup.
Class 2 (15th Feb) - Introduction to Wordpress and first look.
Class 3 (22nd Feb) - Setup domain/subdomain and hosting.
Class 4 (29th Feb) - Install Wordpress on an online server.
Class 5 (7th Mar) - Wordpress management - part 1.
Class 6 (14th Mar) - Wordpress management - part 2.
Class 7 (21st Mar) - Wordpress management - part 3.
Class 8 (28th Mar) - Wordpress Theme installation.
Class 9 (4th Apr) - Practice and Q&A.
Class 10 (11th Apr) - Practice and Q&A.
Is there any extra cost like for online website domain and hosting server?
No, everything is including in the price. The domain and hosting server on which student will host website will be valid for six months from the start date of the course and it can be renewed if requested for an additional charge of $5 per month.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the class?
Yes. Only kids from 10 to 16 yrs old are allowed to attend the class.
How many students will be in a class?
A class will have a maximum of 5-10 students.
Does the instructor have valid WWCC?
Instructor and facilitator present during the workshop have valid working with children check.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
You can park the car on the road to drop off and pick up, otherwise, location is easily accessible via public transport.
What can I bring into the event?
A student should bring the following:
- A working laptop and a charger.
- A water bottle
