Advanced Manufacturing Industry 4.0 Hub presents

futuremap® — Future-proofing Australian SMEs - Webcast series

Manufacturers: are you ready to take your business to the next level, but unsure what that looks like?

Industry 4.0 – Future-proofing Australian Manufacturing - futuremap®

Now, more than ever, Australian manufacturers & process related industries should be thinking about their businesses in a new way: how can business model innovation and leadership, enabled by digital technologies change the way in which a company can create and capture value, thus setting it up for the future?

The thought provoking content and industry examples in this futuremap® interactive workshop will make you think differently about aspects of your business, including how it earns/spends revenue, delivers/provides value to customers, how it engages/interacts with customers, the impact of technology, the business ecosystem and supply chain, work practices and risk management.

To begin your digitalisation journey, you will engage with the futuremap® business diagnostic tool designed specifically for Australian manufacturing & process related industry SMEs to help you assess the current state of your business and identify areas of focus and potential investment to transform and create a future-ready organisation.

The workshop helps you evaluate the business’s position across 13 key areas of industrial and manufacturing competitiveness to produce a point-in-time self-assessment and report that identifies both immediate, and medium-term, opportunities for growth and potential investment.

This workshop is intended for business owners or senior executives (eg. General managers) in a manufacturing or process related industry (including Food & Beverage, Meat processing, Dairy, Agri-business, Defence, Pharmaceuticals etc).

Developed by the Innovative Manufacturing CRC (IMCRC), futuremap® enables participants to map their maturity levels and capabilities in the areas of:

    • Market positioning
    • Leadership, strategy and change management
    • Innovation and use of technology and
    • Digital manufacturing (Industry 4.0)

Note: In response to the evolving COVID-19 situation, this workshop is being delivered in a virtual (webcast style) format. We invite you to join us at this online event to explore how you can build resilient, cost competitive, sustainable and future-ready organisations.

The futuremap® workshop is limited to 20 Victorian manufacturing & process related industry SMEs, targeted at senior representatives with a maximum of two people per organisation (1 ticket per person).

Businesses can use this time of economic slowdown to test new ways of working, keep people motivated and engaged to transform their business.
