NEO-Learning is a fun education resource co-created by young people from Ieramugadu (Roebourne) within the Pilbara region of Western Australia. NEOMAD is the title of three award winning comic book episodes featuring visual storytelling that takes us towards future adventures.
Young people from Ieramugadu are the creators, characters and drivers of NEOMAD. What makes NEO-Learning so unique is that the young people from Ieramugadu acquire digital literacies to pass them on as the peer mentors to support your students learnings!
The NEO-Learning project was created with your students in mind – building solid skills in digital literacies, visual arts, plus literacy and numeracy incorporated at every turn.
NEO-Learning is a Big hART project in partnership with the Telstra foundation, with support from Reconciliation Australia via the Narragunawalli program.
We deliver this unit at no cost to you thanks to the support of the Telstra Foundation’s Tech4Good program.
