The Australian E-Commerce Summit
Australia's e-commerce revolution is here to stay. Join us and ensure your business is part of the growth journey.
The way Australians do business has irrevocably changed in 2020 - and triggered an e-commerce boom.
The Australian E-Commerce Summit, brought to you by Australia Post, will unlock the secrets to success in this fast-changing environment and reveal the innovations that have seen some businesses experience record growth.
Join us for this two-day summit, on October 21 and 22, featuring a slate of high-profile speakers and panelists to give valuable insights for business owners, entrepreneurs, consumers and policy-makers.
A recent Deloitte analysis found Australia Post’s activities during the three months to May 2020 – the peak COVID-19 period – facilitated an additional $2.4 billion in e-commerce compared to the same time last year, with communities in regional and remote Australia accounting for almost a quarter of the business. And the boom is here to stay.
"Over the next few years, as consumer confidence returns, purchases are likely to continue growing online as more Australians become accustomed to the digital marketplace due to social distancing measures,'' National Retail Association chief executive Dominique Lamb said."In a post-coronavirus landscape, we will see a shift in what Australians are willing to buy online - not just electronic items and apparel but essentials such as groceries, pharmacy products and alcohol."
