CoderDojo@Bentleigh - Children Coding Club - Term 3

Proposed - Weekly on Saturdays 7pm - 8pm

Learn Python Free - Suitable for Age 10 to 14 years and Scratch/ScratchJr Coding for young children (ages 5-9)

CoderDojo Sunshine Coast welcomes anyone between the ages of 7-17 to come and learn coding

Python (suitable for Age 10 to 14 years):

Python is a great programming language with which to start learning to code. Python is a powerful, easy-to-read, high-level programming language. This means commands read like English words instead of complicated 0s and 1s and this makes it easy for kids to learn Python without a lot of experience.

Scratch/ScratchJr Coding for young children (ages 5-9):

With ScratchJr, young children can program their own interactive stories and games. In the process, they learn to solve problems, design projects, and express themselves creatively on the computer.

No prior knowledge required!

Please bring:

  • A laptop.
