Designed to empower SMEs, this initiative offers a straightforward path to embracing responsible AI-enabled services that can enhance their business. 

What Is the AI Adopt Program? 

The AI Adopt Program is an Australian Government-funded initiative aimed at establishing up to five AI Adopt Centres, each serving as a hotspot for SMEs engaged in international and interstate trade. These locations play a pivotal role in fostering the adoption of responsible AI technologies. 

Who's Eligible? 

Any business in Australia with the capacity to establish these centres aiding SMEs is eligible for this program. It's an opportunity for businesses to contribute to the AI evolution while growing their own capabilities. 

Businesses can receive grants ranging from $3 million to $5 million over four years. This funding covers up to 50% of eligible project expenses, making AI integration more accessible than ever.

The Power of the Network 

These AI Adopt Centres will collectively create a nationwide network. Each centre focuses on priority sectors identified by the National Reconstruction Fund (NRF), showcasing AI's innovative potential, providing guidance on responsible AI adoption, and offering specialised training at no cost. This network also complements the National Artificial Intelligence Centre and the Responsible AI Network.
