Expressions of Interest (EOI) are open from Victorian companies to participate in a number of upcoming tech-related Trade Missions in 2024.

GCC Sport, Event & Infrastructure Mission (April-May 2024)

Global Victoria and its Middle East Victorian Government Trade & Investment Office in Dubai is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Victorian companies to participate in a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Sport, Event & Infrastructure Trade Mission Program. Anticipated to take place from Sunday 28 April to Friday 3 May 2024, the mission will visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and he United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This mission will provide participants the opportunity to engage key government ministries and agencies, Giga & mega projects, major events, venues, federations, leagues, clubs, higher education bodies and additional private sector organisations and delivery partners.

In addition to having the ability to interact and showcase your business to C-level executives from the GCC; it is anticipated that participants will hear from key GCC stakeholders about regional opportunities, the vehicle to engage going forward and be part of key networking events showcasing Victorian capability.

The mission will be suitable for Victorian sport and sportstech, event and infrastructure companies, stakeholders and relevant service providers who have an interest in exploring the Gulf region as a genuine export opportunity and are looking to make in-market connections

RSA Conference, San Francisco USA (May 2024)

Global Victoria and its USA Victorian Government Trade & Investment Offices are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Victorian cybersecurity companies to ascertain demand to attend the RSA Conference in San Francisco USA, 6 - 9 May, 2024.

Global Victoria is currently looking to partner with Austrade to enable Victorian companies to join their RSA program. This program is currently under development by Austrade and is anticipated to be in a similar format to the 2023 Australia House program.

We are also seeking feedback as to the level of interest in participating, and your preferred location, in a Global Victoria led addition to this program that will visit another city in North America. It is anticipated that participants would likely join the RSA program on Monday 6 May - Wednesday 8 May, with the additional visit occurring Thursday 9 May – Friday 10 May.

VivaTech, Paris (May 2024)

Global Victoria and its Paris Victorian Government Trade & Investment Office are seeking EOI from Victorian technology companies to ascertain demand to attend the VivaTechexhibition and conference in Paris, France, May 22 - 25, 2024.

VivaTech is Europe’s biggest technology and start-up event hosted at the Porte de Versailles expo venue in Paris.  In 2023, Global Victoria led its first trade mission to VivaTech, which recorded over 150,000 international visitors from 174 countries (of which 65 percent decision-makers), 2,800 exhibitors (companies of all sizes and every sector), 2,600 investors, and 919 million people reached on social media. 

Global Victoria is looking to have a stand at VivaTech, a networking event and site visits as part of the Global Victoria program.

London Tech Week (LTW) (June 2024)

Global Victoria and its London Victorian Government Trade & Investment Office are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Victorian technology companies to ascertain demand to participate in a trade mission to London Tech Week in London, UK, June 10 - 14, 2024.

LTW is Europe’s largest festival of live tech events, taking place across London. LTW attracts over 20,000 participants across global government and corporate leaders, senior investors and tech rising stars. This is the eighth consecutive trade mission the Victorian Government has led to LTW, and there have been many outstanding outcomes achieved.

Global Victoria is looking to again partner with Creative Victoria and the UK Government to deliver this tailored program of meetings and networking events around the occurrence of LTW.
