 Spotlight: Tech on Country

As we recognise National Reconciliation Week, we feature proud Trawlwulwuy man and Luggarah Managing Director David Parkin is changing the narrative one video game at a time. Established in 2018, Luggarah is a wholly Aboriginal owned business based in Stawell, 237km up the Calder Fwy. Luggarah is fostering links between diverse students in regional areas and opportunities in tech-related industries. Since 2019, Luggarah has been involved in the annual Digital Innovation Festival hosting both their Tech on Country and Game Ed workshops in regional Victoria. Back for DIF2021, we can’t wait to see what new narratives are created through tech on country by future leaders.
