Australia's premiere Regional Innovation Summit is back for 2021, with a focus on navigating change and solving big problems

Now in its fifth year, Binary Shift is back on 16 November, with another groundbreaking program to continue the conversation around how innovation can address both the challenges and opportunities facing regional communities.

“Everyone can make the world a better place, if they have the right tools,” says Dr. Elena Kelareva, Binary Shift Co-Founder and Director. “Our speakers are tackling era-defining problems, and they’re using innovation as a tool to create change. We are giving our audience an inside view into the kind of transformational thinking that rewrites the rulebook.”

Binary Shift is the interactive event of the year, fostering local connections and inspiring regional innovators to tackle some of society’s biggest challenges in their own backyard. This one day program will inspire the audience to take action and learn about how to actually go about making change, whatever that looks like for them.

“After a tumultuous two years around the globe, we wanted Binary Shift to speak to the challenges that are at the front of everyone's minds, especially in regional areas.” continued Dr. Kelareva.

Many of the largest challenges facing the world today - climate change, energy transition, the future of work, emergency management - disproportionately affect regional areas. The aim of the conference is to inspire regional innovators and leaders with the stories of people who are solving these big problems.”
