Digital Jobs interns are ready for your business

24 November 2021 - The DIF Team

By building a strong workforce of Victorians with digital skills, the program also aims to support Victorian businesses seeking to build their digital capability or looking for workers with digital skills. Over the next three years, up to 5,000 Victorians are expected to complete the program.

Need to find high-quality candidates trained in cyber security, cloud computing or agile project management?

A new cohort of mid-career Victorians, recently upskilled through industry-backed digital courses, will soon be available as interns through the Digital Jobs program.

Supported by a wage subsidy from the Victorian Government, these motivated candidates selected through a rigorous application process can join your team and bring their transferable skills and life experience to your digital projects.

Round 2 internships start in late January. Businesses can apply now here >>

Building Victoria’s digital workforce

Technology continues to revolutionise the way we live and work.

For businesses to thrive in a digital world, we need more people with digital skills for digital jobs.

The Victorian Government’s Digital Jobs program aims to build the state’s digital workforce by training and upskilling mid-career Victorians so they can transition into digital careers.

Over the next three years, we’ll support 5,000 mid-career Victorians to complete a six-month program that includes 12 weeks of industry-backed training followed by 12 weeks in a digital job with a Victorian business.

We’ve lined up some of the state’s top employers to host candidates, including ANZ, Carsales, Zendesk, Amazon and MYOB!

We’re looking for motivated applicants over the age of 30 who are ready for a career change, and businesses searching for great people with digital skills.

We’re backing Victorian workers and businesses to succeed.
