In a pre-COVID world, Demo Days were a showcase of the talent and game-changing ideas coming out of Startmate. It was the best way to connect with investors, mentors, founders and operators across the region. But most importantly, it was a party and celebration for the whole Startmate community.

We don't see why this has to change.

Over the past three months, we have been working with our first fully remote cohort of 16 companies across Australia and New Zealand. Amidst lockdowns, border closures and ongoing uncertainty across our region and beyond, these teams have risen to the challenge, helping us reimagine what it means to be an accelerator in these times.

Demo Day: Deconstructed pulls apart the most important elements of what makes a successful live event and reassembles them to create a different kind of virtual experience. We invite you to help us make it every bit as special as if we were standing shoulder-to-shoulder.

From the aerospace industry to real estate and law, from SaaS to hardware, from biotech to craft beer... this cohort is pushing the boundaries in their respective fields.
