Scaling up your business sustainability

At our Startup Central Victoria discussion on 7 April 2022, Adrian Kowal, owner and director of Kowelec Electrical, generously talked about his experiences of scaling up his business over the past ten years. With growth comes challenges. Cash flow, staffing, profitability and customers … these are just some of the problems that every business will face as it looks to grow.

Adrian Kowal has experienced all of these challenges and has successfully navigated this landscape. As part of this series he has generously agreed to share his experiences with other Central Victorian businesses looking to scale up sustainably.

Guest speaker: Adrian Kowal from Kowelec Electrical 

Adrian Kowal is owner and director of Kowelec, a boutique electrical contractor, servicing Central Victoria. Kowelec has been in operation over 10 years and has grown to a team of 14 employees. In 2017 Kowelec was named Business of the Year in the Mount Alexander Shire Business Awards.

Currently the business is taking another large step forward with recruitment of more management staff as well as the construction of a new factory showroom.
