Boosting digital skills for our manufacturing future

DIGITAL JOBS FOR MANUFACTURING

The Digital Jobs for Manufacturing program provides funding to upskill existing staff in high demand digital skillsets. 

Watch this informative session to the learn how you can get involved in the program and how your business can access fully subsidised digital skills training for existing employees. 

 

Speaker: Michelle Vincenzini, Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions

Michelle Vincenzini has 25 years’ experience in the skills and employment sectors across both private and government. Michelle currently leads the Digital Jobs for Manufacturing Program that is aimed at upskilling the manufacturing sector to support businesses to adopt and integrate advanced technologies.

Michelle has led the talent verticals of critical projects for the Department of Transport and also led the recruitment function for the Department of Premier and Cabinet.  Michelle’s private sector experience includes 10 years as the owner and Managing Director of a recruitment firm and the General Manager of Talent for the Australian Industry Group.  

 

More about the Digital Jobs for Manufacturing program

The Digital Jobs for Manufacturing Program offers grants of up to $5000 to assist Victorian manufacturing businesses adapt to a digital operating environment.

The program is open to businesses with a manufacturing presence in Victoria which are on a growth trajectory and are seeking to utilise their existing workforce to apply digital technology to their operations.

Training is delivered by Victoria’s leading education providers online and part-time over 12 weeks. Courses will run in January, May and September 2023 and January and April 2024. Choose from a suite of courses in:

  • Additive manufacturing                             
  • AI/machine learning
  • CAD/CAM                                                      
  • Cloud computing
  • Customer Relationship Management    
  • Cybersecurity
  • Data analytics                                               
  • Digital marketing
  • IT operations & support                            
  • Product management
