Australia's AI Sprint - Information Session

This session was held on 7 March 2024

Are you ready to leverage AI to help improve the lives of everyday Australians?

Australia’s AI Sprint is an exciting new initiative set to activate and bring together the AI ecosystem by supporting innovators to rapidly develop new, novel and viable AI solutions across various industries.

The AI Sprint is a collaboration between the National AI Centre (coordinated by Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO), Australia's largest innovation community Stone & Chalk, and Google Cloud.

A cohort of participants will be provided with the support they need - including corporate partnership opportunities, commercial mentoring, networking and technical assistance - to turn their AI tech into sustainable businesses during the sprint.

Help us shape the future of AI in Australia.

Program details

Australia’s AI Sprint will provide access to the expert guidance, infrastructure and connections needed to help participants create and launch AI-powered solutions that bring economic and social benefits to Australia.

This program is open to participants across the nation and will be delivered online, with some hybrid elements.

The sprint commences on 3 April 2024 and culminates in a Demo Day in June where participants will present to an audience of key industry stakeholders.

Prizes

A pool of research and development support valued at $500,000 from selected Australian research institutes will be available to first, second and third place winners. This prize is provided by the National AI Centre and includes facilitation services by CSIRO's SME Connect.

Winners and finalists of Australia’s AI Sprint will also be given access to Australia’s AI Sprint Prize Sandbox to further accelerate their solution.
