HUNT FOR VICTORIA’S NEXT WAVE OF UNICORNS CONTINUES WITH LAUNCHVIC’S 30X30 Launched last year with a cohort including Mr Yum, Seer Medical and July, 30X30 is an executive education program for HR, Operations and Finance leads at Victoria’s fastest growing scaleups. The four-month program will see scaleup talent paired with mentors from existing unicorn ventures such as Atlassian, Canva, Culture Amp, Judo Bank and Carsales to address common bottlenecks for scaling companies. Those successful scaleups looking to export, will receive business guidance and $6,000 funding for new market entry from Global Victoria, the Victorian Government’s trade facilitation and promotion agency. Zhoe Low, General Manager of direct-to-consumer luggage startup July, said the 30X30 program has helped the company through a significant growth period with the return of international travel. “The 30X30 program provided us with a rare opportunity to connect with our scaleup peers to share and learn from their experiences as well as those of our mentors,” she said. “This couldn’t have come at a better time as we were experiencing a period of exponential growth and the program helped our management team to hone our focus and shape our operations for further expansion.” What is 30X30? 30X30 is an ambitious program for ambitious scaleups. As the name suggests, we want to see 30 Victorian scaleups reach unicorn status by 2030.
